September is Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Awareness Month 💚

As a mama of a NICU graduate, this month is very special at Night Owl Infant Care and to my family. My oldest was born 6 weeks early ( 34 weeks ), and I was diagnosed with Postpartum Depression (PPD). Although I have OB experience it was still extremely hard to process having an early delivery and all that comes with it. The staff in the NICU gave us a lot of knowledge, support & resources! One of these resources was a program called Smooth Way Homes under Southwest Human Development @swhdaz. We had a great learning experience with our Fragile Infant Specialist supporting, and educating us she helped us have the best transition from NICU to home one week at a time.

This is one of the many reasons WHY I am a Newborn Care Specialist! So many families in their transition home would benefit from receiving overnight care with an NCS to establish healthy sleeping habits! Want to know more please feel free to Email, Message, or Text.
